Walker Diving recently completed a project for the Fawn Lake Forest Association. The project involved an initial video inspection to assess the overall condition of the dam outlet flow control structure and gate operating system. Subsequent repairs required removing damaged shaft sections then resetting and stabilizing the existing concrete pedestals. Walker Diving installed new shafts sections and guides for the flow control gate to make it operational. To prevent future movement of the pedestals, stabilization was added by installing four-inch channels from the head all out into the lake approximately forty feet. The channels were secured to the sides pedestals with stainless anchors.
